If your maritime journey begins and/or ends in IJmuiden, you have the option to use public transportation to reach the Felison Cruise Terminal. However, to add more convenience to your holiday, you can also bring your own car and park safely and affordably at the terminal.
The large car park is located right next to the terminal (the address for your navigation is Cruiseboulevard 10, 1976 EB IJmuiden) and porters are on hand to help you with your luggage if necessary.
Through the Felison Cruise Terminal’s website, you can reserve a parking space up to 48 hours before departure. If there are still spots available on the parking lot on your day of departure, you can also pay on-site at the information desk inside the terminal and then leave your car in the enclosed, fully fenced area.
The parking fee is € 15.00* per day, so for a fortnight stay, this amounts to € 225.00. When making a reservation through the website, you can pay with PayPal at no additional cost. If you choose to pay via a bank transfer, there is an additional € 12.50 in administration fees. The Felison Cruise Terminal applies a fair flat rate for everyone; no discounts are applicable, such as for people with disabilities.
In various online listings, you’ll find (sometimes cheaper) offers for parking at the cruise terminal. However, it’s important to note that absolutely none of these parking options are at or even near the terminal. In every case, you’ll be parking at a (remote) lot far out of IJmuiden, which means a long shuttle ride will always be required.
Some people choose to park their car along the street in the port of IJmuiden during their cruise. While this is allowed in some places, we strongly advise against it, especially because the port area is largely deserted at night. Be wise, book a parking space at the Felison Cruise Terminal!
